Color Scheme

Darker colors creates a definition and thus creates shaves off some space of the walls. Try a few shades of color using small patches on your walls and leave it on for a few days. The changes in light will give a different effect. See how you feel about the shade during daylight and during the evening and select the color that you feel comfortable with. Unframe it
If your bathroom has walls enclosing or dividing the shower, it’s time to knock it down and open up that barrier. By creating an open space and enclosing the shower with glass will give the illusion of transparency which will reflect light and would increase the depth of the shower. Consider the frameless showers that are most commonly used in today’s bathroom remodeling project. Additionally, creating recessed storage in shower walls are good to keep the shower necessities conveniently and neatly placed.
Save space
There are space savers that you can incorporate when doing a bathroom remodeling project. One of them would be installing a pedestal sink in a small bathroom. If you require a little more added storage, another option would be choosing a floating vanity. This takes away the bulkiness of a vanity and still giving you the function that you need.
Medicine Cabinet
The vanity area is something we all use on a daily basis. We all have toiletries that we use on a daily bases but we don’t want them exposed and creating clutter. We all need that extra storage space to hide the little bottles away. Install a medicine cabinet in your bathroom to conceal the little clutter. Keeping clean lines and tidiness in the bathroom always looks pleasing to the eye.
Reflection
Placing a large frameless mirror in the bathroom would give the illusion of a larger space. Combine the mirror with a well-placed task lighting will make your bathroom seem bigger.
Task & Ambient lighting
Defining the space with the right light effects can really enlarge the space. Proper placement of task and ambient lighting would be very important when doing a bathroom remodel. Lights may be placed above the vanity mirror or even behind the mirror if the design permits it. Task lighting is important on areas like over the vanity and in the shower.
